Reb Yaakov Levovitz is an experienced traveler with a deep passion for exploring the beauty of nature, especially the awe-inspiring landscapes of Alaska. With years of experience planning and leading trips for bochurim across the country, he brings a wealth of knowledge and expertise to every adventure.

As a Rebbi in Brooklyn he is Known for his warm, caring personality and his ability to make every talmid feel valued, and special. His adventurous spirit and fun-loving approach create an environment where campers are encouraged to explore, learn, and grow while having the time of their lives.

Alaska holds a special place in his heart, and he takes pride in sharing its breathtaking wilderness with others. Whether it’s hiking majestic trails, spotting wildlife, or taking in the serenity of nature, his enthusiasm is contagious. Under his guidance, the camp offers a unique and unforgettable experience filled with inspiration, excitement, and meaningful memories.

Rabbi Avrohom Kosman grew up in Frederick, MD, as part of the only observant family in the community. With many guests at every Shabbos meal, he developed a strong sense of responsibility for the Jewish community from a young age. In his teens, he founded Camp Shoresh, a kiruv camp that now introduces over 300 children annually to the beauty of Judaism.

A man of many talents, Rabbi Kosman moved to Bnei Brak, where he spent the past 30 years immersed in Torah learning. He became a Rosh Yeshiva of Slabodka, founding the Master Daf program and other shiurim followed daily by thousands worldwide. His unique combination of diverse experiences and vast Torah knowledge has made him a sought-after leader and advisor.

Rabbi Kosman is known for his infectious smile, deep wisdom, and unparalleled love and care for others. His ability to make everyone feel special has inspired countless people. Having led many impactful trips and events in Israel and America, we are thrilled to have him join us in Alaska for an unforgettable experience!
